Suspect Wanted for Burglary to “La Pitaya” Restaurant in Lake Worth

According to police, the male captured on video surveillance smashed the front glass door of “La Pitaya” Mexican restaurant in Lake Worth and committed a burglary to the business.  This incident occurred on January 7, 2020, between 2:08 am and 2:30 am in Lake Worth Beach.

UPDATE: On January 31, 2020, The Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office announced that they had charged John Andrew Flynn, 42, of West Palm Beach, with Burglary, Criminal Mischief and Petit Theft from the incident at La Pitaya Restaurant.

LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL – The Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect they say is wanted for burglary to a business, specifically, the “La Pitaya” Mexican restaurant in Lake Worth, FL.

According to police, an unknown male was captured on video surveillance walking through the plaza creeping into business windows before deciding to smash the front glass door of the Mexican restaurant. Once inside he committed a burglary. 

This incident occurred on January 7, 2020, between 2:08 am and 2:30 am.  The plaza is located in the 400 block of South Dixie Highway, City of Lake Worth Beach. 

UPDATE: On January 31, 2020, The Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office announced that they had charged John Andrew Flynn, 42, of West Palm Beach, with Burglary, Criminal Mischief and Petit Theft from the incident at La Pitaya Restaurant.
