Pompano Beach Man Demarest Stevenson, 46, Busted for Attempted First Degree Murder After Victim Found With Numerous Stab Wounds

According to police, Demarest Stevenson, 46, of Pompano Beach was charged with Homicide – Murder in the first degree, premeditated, a violation of code: 782.04 1A1 (FC). Charges are accusations and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

POMPANO BEACH, FL – Deputies responded to a report of a stabbing in the 6800 block of Fountains Circle, Lake Worth yesterday, January 15, 2020. According to police, upon arrival, deputies located a male victim with numerous stab wounds. 

The victim, who’s name was withheld, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The suspect in the incident was identified as Demarest Stevenson, 46, of Pompano Beach. Probable cause for Attempted First Degree Murder was developed and Demarest was transported to the Palm Beach County Jail where he was booked on HOMICIDE – MURDER FIRST DEGREE PREMEDITATED, Violation Code: 782.04 1A1 (FC).

Charges are accusations and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
