BREAKING: Lake Worth Man, Roberto Portillo-Quijano, 60, Charged With First Degree Murder In Deadly Citgo Gas Station Shooting Yesterday

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office, detectives arrested suspect, Roberto Portillo-Quijano, 60, for 1st degree murder. As of early this morning Portillo-Quijano was going through the booking process and would likely not attend first appearance until Thursday. No information regarding a motive has been released at this time.

LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL – It did not take investigators long to identify a suspect in a deadly shooting in Lake Worth. According to police, yesterday, January 21, Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office Deputies responded to a shooting at the Citgo gas station located in the 2100 block of 10th Ave North in Lake Worth, FL. Upon arrival deputies located a male deceased from gunshot wounds.

After further investigation, Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division and Crime Scene Investigators identified and arrested suspect, Roberto Portillo-Quijano, 60, for 1st degree murder. As of early this morning Portillo-Quijano was going through the booking process and would likely not attend first appearance until Thursday, January 23, 2020, police said.

No information regarding a motive has been released at this time.
