VIDEO: Broward Detectives Release Video Footage of Black SUV Involved in Oakland Park Shooting Striking Victim Driving Parallel In White Chevy Cruze

According to police, around 11:25 a.m. Saturday, someone in the black SUV is possibly believed to have shot into the white Chevy, striking the victim a total of three times in the left forearm, right leg and left leg.

​OAKLAND PARK, FL – Broward Sheriff’s Office violent crimes detectives are releasing video footage of a black SUV involved in a shooting on Jan. 18.

According to police, around 11:25 a.m. Saturday, surveillance video shows a black SUV, in the far right northbound lane, driving parallel to the victim’s white Chevy Cruze, in the far left northbound lane, at the 3400 block of Northwest 31st Avenue in Oakland Park. The SUV is then seen making a sudden right turn onto Northwest 35th Street as the victim’s vehicle comes to a complete stop south of Northwest 35th Street. 

Someone in the black SUV is possibly believed to have shot into the white Chevy, striking the victim a total of three times in the left forearm, right leg and left leg. Oakland Park Fire Rescue transported the victim to Broward Health Medical Center. Her injuries were not life threatening. 

BSO detectives are asking the driver to come forward or anyone with information regarding this case to contact BSO Violent Crimes Detective Anthony Ciaravino at 954-321-4252.
