REWARD: Broward Homicide Detectives Seeking To Locate Akeeme Cordell Brown, 22, Wanted on Murder Charges, Consider Armed and Dangerous

Broward homicide detectives are seeking Akeeme Cordell Brown, 22, who is wanted on one count of second degree murder and two counts of second degree attempted murder. Brown is described as a black male, approximately 6 foot 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 210 pounds. Brown should be considered armed and/or dangerous. 

UPDATE: 2/20/2020 – Akeeme Cordell Brown has reportedly turned himself in to the Broward Sheriff’s Office Main Jail.  

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Akeeme Cordell Brown, 22, who is wanted on one count of second degree murder and two counts of second degree attempted murder.

According to police, at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 13, 2020, Broward County Regional Communications received a call in reference to a shooting in the 3600 block of Northwest 21st Street in Lauderdale Lakes. 

Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with multiple victims who were suffering from gunshot wounds. One female victim was pronounced deceased on scene, and two other victims were transported to Broward Health Medical Center. 

During the investigation, detectives identified Brown as the suspect and currently have an active warrant for his arrest. Brown is described as a black male, approximately 6 foot 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 210 pounds. Brown should be considered armed and/or dangerous.
