HOLLYWOOD, FL – An anonymous tip led detectives to the location of a Hollywood man wanted for first-degree murder from a 2018 shooting. According to the report, Terrance Warner was located and taken into custody in Albany, Georgia. He was extradited from the Dougherty County Jail and booked into the Broward Sheriff’s Office Main Jail on Feb. 27, 2020.
On Dec. 8, 2018, at 4:17 a.m., deputies responded to reports of gunfire near 5018 Pembroke Road. They found the victim, Clifton Afflick-Laidley, 31, of Miramar, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue transported the victim to Memorial Regional Hospital where he died. Through the course of the investigation, homicide detectives determined that the murder began as an argument between Jimard Fox, 27 at the time, and the victim.
