Sheriff’s Office To Host Women In Public Safety Symposium Saturday, March 14 at the Broward College Institute of Public Safety

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – The women of the Broward Sheriff’s Office will educate women of all ages about the advantages of a career in public safety during the Women in Public Safety Symposium. The event will take place from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. on March 14 at the Broward College Institute of Public Safety, located at 3501 S.W. Davie Road, buildings 21 and 22, Davie. 

The event will provide insight into job opportunities for sworn and civilian positions, including law enforcement, corrections, communications, fire rescue, child protective services and more. Recruiters from the tri-county area will be available to offer advice on the different job opportunities and provide recommendations for physical fitness training for those interested in entering the academy.
