Detectives Investigating What Happened To German Shepherd Found in Wellington With Gunshot Wounds To Her Face And Body

On Wednesday, deputies found a tan and black German Shepherd with gunshot wounds to her face and upper body. After further investigation the deputies learned the shepherd’s name was “BELLA”. She was immediately transported to Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Loxahatchee Groves for emergency treatment.

WELLINGTON, FL – On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 8:30 am, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 13000 block of Folkstone Circle, in the Village of Wellington in reference to an animal cruelty call. Upon arrival deputies located a tan and black German Shepherd with gunshot wounds to her face and upper body.

According to authorities,, the German Shepherd was immediately transported to Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Loxahatchee Groves for emergency treatment. After further investigation the deputies learned the shepherd’s name was “BELLA”.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the suspect or suspects that committed this heinous act.
