GREENACRES, FL – The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is looking to locate a suspect they say is wanted for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon from an incident at a Greenacres hardware store.

According to authorities, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, an unknown male entered Ace Hardware and helped himself to over $800 worth of tools. He then walked out of the store and began loading the unpaid merchandise into the back seat of his vehicle. 

The manager followed the suspect out of the store and attempted to get his license plate number when the suspect struck the manager with his vehicle as he was attempting to flee. This incident occurred at the Ace Hardware in the 6700 block of Forest Hill Blvd in Greenacres.
