PORTSMOUTH, OH –  Yes, you read that right. It appears a pastor is ticked because Governor DeSantis, along with other sane and sensible citizens in Florida and across the USA want to protect innocent children from indoctrination, grooming, and sexualization by adult entertainers (aka drag queens in thongs and pasties on nipples) twerking and jerking to music with nasty lyrics – while kids stuff dollar bills into their G-strings. Hasn’t this pastor watched any of these disgusting video clips on TikTok or YouTube? Hasn’t the pastor been informed about pedophiles disguised as drag queens? Hasn’t the pastor perused the Gays Against Groomers website?

According to a recent article in Hot Spot Magazine, “Church Pastor Launches ‘Drag Queen Bible Story Hour’ To Protest Florida’s Governor DeSantis.”

Sunshine Cathedral, the world’s largest queer church located in Fort Lauderdale will host four holiday ‘Bible Story Hours’ for Advent. Advent is a month-long pre Christmas Holiday celebration observed in most Christian denominations as a time of expectant waiting and preparation for both the celebration of the Nativity of Christ at Christmas and the return of Christ at the Second Coming. It literally means the beginning of the holiday season. Senior minister Rev Dr. Durrell Watkins will host four ‘Drag Queen Bible Story Hours’ every Wednesday starting November 30, then December 7, 14, and 21. He will present in Glam Drag as Rev Dr. Dragvina Scriptura. She will read fun and relevant bible stories with a new and interesting twist. The Drag Queen Bible Story Hour will be appropriate for all ages.”

Anger and revenge are not appropriate nor biblical motives to offer a Christmas program for children – especially by a church pastor. Using children as political pawns is disgraceful no matter what issue. And the further disgrace is indoctrinating kids into a nonscientific gender ideology because no child is born in the wrong body. Read the book Genesis. God created male and female – not transgenderism.

Um, what? I’m confused. Shouldn’t church events put Jesus as the center of attention and not the pastor dressed up in over-the-top women’s attire, a wacky wig, and caked makeup – telling stories to children. Since when do kids need a bizzarro character (a grown man in an offensive-to-women outfit) to learn about the birth of Jesus? Excuse me, but there wasn’t a drag queen in the stable when the Christ child was born. And there aren’t any trans mentioned in the Bible either. Furthermore, Jesus is crowned a King – not a queen.

However, the host reporting about the drag queen event on the news video for Hot Spot Magazine stated, “And there was even drag in biblical times…drag can be empowering and that makes its holy.”

Uh-huh. Since when is drag considered holy? God is what makes a person holy – not putting on a costume and reading a story.

I’m assuming Rev. Watkins will not be dressed in a mistletoe thong with snowflake pasties – at least I hope that’s not what he means by “a new and interesting twist.” I’m resorting to humor because I don’t know whether to laugh, cry, or pray.
