Actor Matthew Perry in Emergency Situation as First Responders Arrive

Actor Matthew Perry was discovered unconscious in a stand-alone jacuzzi. Tragically, their attempts to revive him were in vain, as he had already passed away at the young age of 54.

The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) shared the details of the incident, explaining that a bystander had valiantly tried to rescue Perry by bringing his head above the water and guiding him to the edge of the jacuzzi. 

Upon the firefighters’ arrival, they promptly removed him from the water, only to find that he had succumbed before their arrival. 

The circumstances surrounding Perry’s sudden death are now under investigation by both the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

An autopsy has already been conducted, but the conclusive cause of Perry’s death awaits the results of toxicology reports, which could take several weeks. 

At the same time, it is still too early to confirm the exact cause. 

A law enforcement source has stated that no foul play is suspected, alleviating concerns of any criminal involvement.

Perry’s family, including his parents, John Bennett Perry and Suzanne Morrison, and his step-father, renowned “Dateline” correspondent Keith Morrison, were seen at his home during the police response. 

Their grief was evident, as they released a heartfelt statement through People magazine. 

They described their profound sadness at the loss of their beloved son and brother, expressing gratitude for the outpouring of love from fans and friends alike.
