Mother of Presumed-Dead Disabled Boy Indicted to Facilitate Her Return from India
The mother of Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, a 6-year-old disabled boy from Texas who has been missing for a long time and is presumed dead, has been indicted for capital murder in Tarrant County.
Noel was last seen alive in October 2022, and his disappearance has haunted the community ever since.
Since November 2022, various accounts from witnesses have shed light on the circumstances surrounding Noel’s disappearance, and the trial eventually led to a shocking revelation.
In March, the entire Rodriguez-Singh family abruptly fled to India, further deepening the mystery surrounding the young boy’s fate.
Cindy Rodriguez-Singh, Noel’s mother, now faces multiple serious charges, including two counts of injury to a child and one count of abandoning a child without intent to return.
The indictment, delivered on October 30, has been hailed as a significant milestone by local law enforcement, signifying a turning point in the case.
The grand jury’s decision to indict Rodriguez-Singh was based on the assumption that Noel had met an unfortunate end, given the absence of his body and the scarcity of physical evidence.
The indictment was made in a “manner and means unknown to the grand jury,” highlighting the challenging nature of the case.
Noel, who had various medical conditions, had not been seen by extended family members for months before law enforcement became involved.
Initially, Rodriguez-Singh claimed that the child was living with his biological father in Mexico, but this turned out to be false.
A series of disturbing revelations followed, including allegations that Noel’s mother had sold him to another woman and had described the young boy as “evil” in the days leading up to his disappearance.
Furthermore, cadaver dogs detected the presence of human remains beneath a newly poured concrete patio and in an area where a makeshift shed once stood.
As the investigation unfolded, it was revealed that Rodriguez-Singh had connections to a cult-like folk saint associated with violent drug cartels.
The boy’s stepfather also faced charges of theft before leaving the United States.
While the indictments are a critical step forward in the case, the search for answers and justice continues.
The community of Everman remains committed to finding Noel and ensuring that he receives the justice he deserves, even in the face of this harrowing tragedy.
