The Israeli military has officially confirmed the unfortunate demise of a soldier who was abducted by Hamas during their large-scale attack on Israel on October 7th. The soldier had been held captive in Gaza by the militant group. Cpl Marciano, a 19-year-old serving as a lookout at the Nahal Oz kibbutz, found herself among approximately 240 hostages seized by Hamas gunmen during the onslaught.
