The well-known music tycoon Sean Diddy Combs recently faced a troubling lawsuit from a lady who claimed he was involved in a terrifying incident that occurred in 1991.

The woman, Joie Dickerson-Neal, alleges that during her time as a college student, Diddy drugged her, sexually assaulted her, and purportedly recorded the assault without her consent.

Filed in the New York Supreme Court just before the New York Adult Survivors Act expired, allowing adult sexual assault survivors an extended period to sue regardless of the statute of limitations, this lawsuit marks the third legal action in the span of a week against Diddy or his affiliated entities alleging sexual abuse.

The incident in question reportedly occurred on January 3, 1991, when Dickerson-Neal, a psychology student at Syracuse University, accompanied Combs to dinner in Harlem during her winter break.

According to the filing, she alleges that Diddy intentionally drugged her, rendering her incapacitated, before taking her to a music studio where the alleged assault took place.

The well-known music tycoon Sean Diddy Combs recently faced a troubling lawsuit from a lady who claimed he was involved in a terrifying incident that occurred in 1991.

Dickerson-Neal claimed feeling humiliated and hurt and expressed her inability to resist due to the alleged drugging, leaving her without the physical or mental capacity to fend off Combs.

Moreover, the lawsuit accuses Combs of recording the assault and subjecting Dickerson-Neal to revenge porn, a distressing and invasive act that perpetuated her trauma.

The filing reveals that Dickerson-Neal took steps to report the incident, filing police reports in New York and New Jersey, speaking to prosecutors, and seeking support from acquaintances. However, the suit alleges that fear of retaliation from Diddy prevented potential witnesses from stepping forward to support her case.

The New York City Police Department, while refraining from confirming Dickerson-Neal’s specific report, emphasized its commitment to taking sexual assault cases seriously and encouraged survivors to file reports for comprehensive investigation and support services.

As this distressing legal battle unfolds, it underscores the critical importance of supporting survivors and addressing allegations of sexual assault with sensitivity and thorough investigation.
