A shocking incident in Ohio has garnered attention after Charlie Glenn, a man who was shot in the testicle by his ex-girlfriend, expressed forgiveness towards her despite the traumatic ordeal.
Glenn recounted the harrowing event, stating that his ex-girlfriend, 36-year-old Tonya Nester, had requested a walk To his alarm, he discovered she had a pistol.
Glenn revealed, “She said it was a pellet gun, and I said, ‘Let me see it because I’m not going anywhere with you if you got a gun,’ and she pulled it out and shot me,”.
Despite being injured, Glenn managed to disarm Nester and restrained her while his family urgently contacted emergency services.
Paul Carpenter, a friend who rushed Glenn back home after the incident, expressed concern for his well-being, relieved to find the injury wasn’t life-threatening. Witnesses saw Nester running from the scene amid the confusion, and she was later arrested by Ohio law enforcement after they caught her around half a mile from the gunshot location.

Reflecting on the incident, Carpenter conveyed shock and dismay, stating, “It’s unfortunate that somebody would do that. I don’t know if they had relationship problems or what, but to do something like that is horrible.”
Nester is currently confronting allegations of felonious assault in the state of Ohio and is presently held in custody at Butler County Jail under a bond amounting to $100,000.
