A devastating incident shook the small town of Edna, Texas, when Lizbeth Medina, a beloved and aspiring young cheerleader, was found unresponsive in her bathtub on Tuesday.
Her mother, Jacqueline, made the heartbreaking discovery after Lizbeth failed to attend a scheduled cheer event.
Edna Police swiftly responded to the distress call, but tragically pronounced Lizbeth dead at the scene. The cause of her untimely demise remains undisclosed pending the coroner’s investigation, leaving her family grappling with an inexplicable loss.
Jacqueline, still reeling from the traumatic experience, expressed her anguish, stating, “Nobody ever wants to see your child in the bathtub the way I found her. I just want justice for my baby.”
