A bizarre series of events unfolded at a Bass Pro Shops in Alabama, culminating in a spectacle that left onlookers astounded and law enforcement scratching their heads.

George Owens, a 42-year-old man, found himself in custody after a peculiar escapade that involved crashing his car, stripping naked, and engaging in a spontaneous skinny-dipping session in the store’s massive aquarium.

The Alabama incident commenced with Owens driving his vehicle into a pole in the store’s parking lot. Upon impact, he abandoned his car, shed his clothes, and darted through the establishment, catching the attention of concerned bystanders.

Reports indicated that he exhibited erratic behavior before making a splash into the aquarium not once, but twice, exhibiting a carefree demeanor that perplexed those witnessing the spectacle.

Amidst the chaos, Owens’ aquatic display continued with cannonballs and casual relaxation beneath the waterfall, all while in his birthday suit. Alabama Police officers arrived at the scene, attempting to intervene as Owens made repeated dives into the water.

A bizarre series of events unfolded at a Bass Pro Shops in Alabama, culminating in a spectacle that left onlookers astounded and law enforcement scratching their heads.

Despite their efforts, the slippery suspect proved challenging to restrain, evading their grasp and causing further commotion.

Ultimately, after a final leap from the aquarium, Owens landed on the hard concrete floor, injuring himself in the process. Alabama Law enforcement managed to handcuff him, albeit with difficulty, as he struggled and exhibited signs of disorientation, likely due to a concussion sustained during the chaotic ordeal.

Following the episode, Owens underwent a mental health evaluation at a local hospital before being booked into the St. Clair County Jail. His charges included a litany of offenses such as public lewdness, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, assault on a police officer, criminal mischief, and reckless endangerment.

The unusual incident left Bass Pro Shops, known for its serene aquariums, in a surreal situation quite unlike what they’d envisioned for visitors.

Owens’s surprise theatrics captured people’ attention for all the wrong reasons; in sharp contrast, a social media post from the institution before the Alabama incident hilariously advertised their aquariums as great sites to idle away time.
