Samsung has ventured into gaming by releasing its first-ever video game controller, the Replay Wireless Controller, created in partnership with Performance Design Products (PDP).

This significant move signifies the South Korean tech giant’s official entry into the gaming segment, showcasing its commitment to enhancing the gaming experience on Samsung devices.

Part of the ‘Designed for Samsung Gaming Hub’ initiative, the Replay Wireless Controller is tailored specifically for Samsung gadgets, featuring a sleek Midnight Blue design reminiscent of the Xbox controller. 

It boasts unique functionalities like dedicated TV volume buttons and a home button facilitating quick access to the Samsung Gaming Hub. Powered by a built-in rechargeable battery, it promises an impressive 40 hours of gameplay on a single charge and ensures seamless gaming with a 30-feet low latency Bluetooth range.

With a price tag of $49.99, the Replay Wireless Controller stands as a cost-effective option in comparison to its competitors the Xbox Series X and PS5 controllers priced at $55 and $65, respectively.

This controller marks PDP’s inaugural licensed product for the Samsung Gaming Hub, hinting at a broader array of accessories under this program. These products will bear a unique badge signifying their compatibility, quality, performance, and security for Samsung’s cloud-based gaming platform.

Introduced in 2022, the Samsung Gaming Hub revolutionizes gaming by enabling users to play video games directly on Samsung TVs, eliminating the need for consoles or PCs. 

The platform offers diverse game streaming options, including Xbox Game Pass, Amazon Luna, GeForce Now, and more, empowering users with an extensive gaming library accessible from their Samsung devices.
