The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department revealed that firefighter medics responded to a distress call at approximately 4:30 pm on Tuesday, prompting an immediate investigation.

Four dead men were found in a home on the 37500 block of 17th Street East, according to authorities, causing tragedy to strike a tranquil neighborhood in Palmdale, California. 

Upon reaching the location, the firefighters promptly notified the police when they discovered three individuals experiencing medical distress.The horrifying truth of four lives lost within the premises was discovered after further confirmation. 

The reasons for the death of the deceased, two of whom are in their 30s and two of whom are in their 40s and 50s, have not yet been made public. A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department, Chris Reynoso, observed that there appeared to be indications that the males had been dead for some time.

Nevertheless, during the incident, investigators hold the belief that there were no other individuals present within the residence.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Narcotics Bureau Overdose Response Task Force has joined the ongoing investigation, highlighting the possibility of a drug-related incident. Lt. Bobby Dean of the LA County Sheriff’s Department emphasized their commitment to holding accountable any individuals involved in drug-related deaths.

Recorded video displays the solemn setting, featuring the street enclosed by police tape and investigators actively working to comprehend the details of the unfortunate incident.

Susan Pokorny, a neighbor deeply affected by the news, expressed shock and sadness, revealing a personal connection to the occupants of the home. “Very sad and in shock. We did know the family. 

Official confirmation of the links between the four men awaits police verification, leaving the neighborhood reeling from the abrupt loss. “Our children grew up together and we moved in together, so we’re fairly close,” Pokorny said.
