A terrifying video depicts the shark attack that happened on January 15 at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas, involving a 10-year-old child from Maryland.
The distressing footage, obtained by TMZ, shows the boy’s mother’s panicked reaction as she witnesses the terrifying event unfold before her eyes. “Did that just bite him?” she exclaims, realizing it’s her son and urgently calling for medical help.
The young youngster was suddenly dragged into the sea by a shark, turning what was supposed to be an exciting excursion into a nightmare. Witnesses described how he straddled a reef shark after losing his footing, biting his right thigh and generating a large amount of bleeding within the tank.
Fortunately, his parents acted swiftly, rescuing him and rushing him to a nearby hospital, where he is reportedly in stable condition, as confirmed by the Royal Bahamas Police Force.
