When emergency services responded to a distress call reporting a baby drowning in the bathtub, they arrived at a heartbreaking scene. Despite their efforts, Asher was found lifeless on the living room floor, with subsequent attempts at resuscitation proving futile.

The autopsy conducted by Kent County’s chief medical examiner confirmed the cause of death as drowning, indicating that the infant had been left unattended for at least 20 minutes before help arrived.

As investigators delved into the circumstances surrounding Asher’s death, unsettling details emerged. Miller initially provided conflicting accounts of the events, claiming she had only left him unattended for five minutes.

However, scrutiny of her phone records revealed a different story. Analysis showed she had been absorbed in her phone for over 20 minutes, coinciding with the timeframe of Asher’s drowning.
