Yoshinobu Yamamoto Starts Strong: Dodgers Fans Excited for the Season Ahead

The Los Angeles Dodgers made waves with their $325 million signing of Yoshinobu Yamamoto, despite his lack of Major League Baseball experience.

Yamamoto’s fastball, reaching speeds of 96 mph, proved to be a formidable weapon against even the most seasoned hitters. He outmatched Semien with a well-placed fastball before inducing an ugly swing from Lowe with a devastating splitter.

The Dodgers’ choice to extensively invest in the young pitcher, who had won many MVP awards, Sawamura Awards, and a championship victory with the Orix Buffaloes in Japan, was validated by such achievements.
