Sabrina Ionescu, the prominent WNBA star, and Hroniss Grasu, the accomplished Las Vegas Raiders center, celebrated a milestone in their relationship over the weekend as they tied the knot in a ceremony surrounded by friends and family.
The joyous occasion was attended by notable figures from the sports world, including six-time NBA All-Star Pau Gasol and Vanessa and Natalia Bryant, the widow and daughter of the late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.
Kobe, who tragically passed away in 2020, had been a mentor to Ionescu, making their presence at the wedding particularly poignant.
A Star-Studded Affair
On social media, Vanessa Bryant shared her congratulations to the newlyweds, expressing admiration for the beautiful couple and extending her best wishes for their future together.
Dallas Wings forward Satou Sabally also joined in the celebration online, sharing clips and photos from the wedding and adding heartfelt tributes to the couple.
Ionescu and Grasu’s journey to matrimony began in 2021 when they made their relationship public, culminating in their engagement in January of the following year.
