Damian Lillard, an esteemed All-Star player, joins the chorus of admiration for Victor Wembanyama, highlighting the rookie’s remarkable performance despite his inaugural season in the NBA.

Damian Liliard has always been incredibly impressed with Kevin Durant’s ability to perform at 6-foot-11, and now we have someone who is 7-foot-5 doing the exact same thing. Lillard expressed. “Things are becoming increasingly chaotic.”

He believe Wemby is exceptional. Liliard was most surprised by his incredible competitiveness, which leads me to believe that he has the potential to become the top player in the league in the near future, Liliard Comment while being interviewed on “The Dan Patrick Show.”.

Despite the San Antonio Spurs’ current standing as the lowest-ranked team in the Western Conference, their rebuilding strategy has afforded them the opportunity to nurture Wembanyama’s development at a pace conducive to his growth.

Wembanyama’s impressive statistics across 59 games this season, averaging 20.6 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists, alongside his solid shooting percentages, prompt speculation about his potential performance at the peak of his career—a sentiment likely echoed by Lillard and Green.

Receiving acclaim from some of the NBA’s top players is a noteworthy achievement, underscoring Wembanyama’s professionalism, talent, and distinct skill set, which set him apart within the league.

It appears inevitable that he will ascend to the ranks of the top 20 or even top 10 players in the NBA in due course. At that juncture, Lillard and Green may rightfully assert, “We foresaw this outcome.”

While Wembanyama is still in the early stages of his career and characterized by raw talent, there remains room for physical development and refinement of his skill set in the years ahead.

His unique attributes, including his size and skill set, mark him as an exceptional player in the league—an observation reinforced by Draymond Green’s earlier praise of the rookie on his podcast, “The Draymond Green Show.”
