Caleb Houston’s early departure from Orlando due to an ankle ailment made the loss much more painful for the team. With Cole Anthony and Franz Wagner scoring 15 and 18 points off the bench, respectively, the Magic battled valiantly despite the loss.
Magic coach Jamahl Mosley noted both teams’ tenacity in reflecting on the intense encounter and emphasized the value of taking lessons from games as closely contested.
The Kings’ capacity to manage the ball and prevent turnovers ultimately proved critical in ensuring the victory on the road against a strong foe. Sacramento’s victory over the Magic is evidence of their tenacity and will on the floor as they continue to aim for success in the tough Western Conference.
