Guard Hailey Van Lith of LSU women’s basketball decided not to enter the 2024 WNBA Draft in favor of using the transfer portal after her team’s hard-fought Elite Eight tournament loss to Iowa.
Thanks to the COVID-19 waiver, Van Lith is still able to attend college for one more year even though she is not listed among the official list of college athletes eligible for the draft.
Van Lith made his choice, according to reports, following a lackluster showing against Clark in Monday’s Elite Eight match.
