Following a Shooting at a nearby Car Wash, Monroe Police Apprehend the Suspect.

Shooting at a Nearby Car Wash:

Officers from the Monroe Police Department responded to a gunshot at Tommy’s Express Car Wash on Sterlington Road on Thursday, April 4, 2024. Officers discovered upon arrival that the victim had been driving on Cole Street when the gunshot occurred and that their car had ended up in a ditch next to Dairy Queen.

The victim was sent to a hospital that was close by. There are a lot of police officers at the gunshot location.

Authorities said that the suspect had been taken into custody. The victim’s and suspect’s names are currently under wraps. Furthermore, the victim’s current state of health has not been disclosed.
