In Honor of Charlee, 8 Balloons were Launched in East New York:
As many bid farewell to 8-year-old Charlee, who passed away earlier this week after an asthma attack, it was an emotional evening in East New York on Friday, according to the medical examiner.
Dominique Corley, Charlee’s mother, claims that when the family discovered her unconscious in bed, they promptly called 911. Sadly, it was too late, and Charlee passed away a few hours later.
Families and friends gathered to honor Charlee, a source of hope for countless others, and share love across the community.
Corley remarked, “Even though my daughter was only here for eight short years, I feel good about the lasting impression she made. You never want to question why, but you know she was here for a reason.”
With three sisters and three brothers, Charlee was the middle kid. Her friends and teachers all came to offer their respects.
