Klein ISD Teacher Arrested
Both Kedria Grisby, 42, and her 22-year-old son, Roger Magee, are accused of forced prostitution and child trafficking.
Klein ISD Cosmetology Teacher Arrested:
A cosmetology instructor at Klein Cain High School was detained on Monday and accused of forcing prostitution and child trafficking.
Grigsby, 42, is being held at the Harris County Jail. A $250,000 bail is being requested by the District Attorney’s Office for Harris County.
The victims, who were students and reported runaways, were aged 15, 16, and 17, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. Investigators surmise that Grigsby enlisted problematic teenagers from nearby high schools by luring them in with the promise of lodging akin to a hotel room. The sheriff alleged she did it with her 21-year-old son, Roger Magee. On Monday, Magee was already incarcerated on related counts.
Seemingly taken aback by the accusations, Klein Cain High School principal Lauren Marti and Klein ISD head of police jointly sent a message informing families of the arrest.
“Let us be clear: any behavior harming children is deplorable,” it stated.
The sheriff said that several potential victims had already come forward and that Grigsby made an attempt to enlist them. The school encouraged parents to share their knowledge with their children.
