The Republicans in the House are in disarray, unable to cooperate to advance party agendas through Congress, and witnessing their majority evaporate day by day with little to show for their fifteen months in office.

Johnson can only lose one or two Republicans on every given vote because of his shaky majority, yet over 20 have defected.
Following the roughly hour-long meeting, Greene stated that Johnson offered to put her on a suggested “kitchen cabinet” of advisors for the speaker.
