Based on the Facebook post from the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office, an intruder named Derek Condon broke into Jenneiahn’s home in the early hours of March 13. Jenneiahn, who was asleep in her home, was startled awake by the intruder wearing a military jacket and a black ski mask, holding a gun and a flashlight.
She mentioned that her disabled son was also present at home during the incident. The review indicated that Condon likely struck Jenneiahn on the head while she was in bed, as she reported being hit, and investigators discovered blood on her pillow and bedroom floor.
