Sebastian Rogers Update – Sebastian Rogers’ Father Hires Private Investigators

Sebastian Rogers, a 15-year-old boy, disappeared from his home eight weeks ago. As the search for him continues, authorities take a look at another similar and high-profile case.

One many of you will remember – involving Joe Clyde Daniels, and what might be learned from him which could help us in finding the mission boy.

Joe Clyde, a five-year-old boy, disappeared from his Dickson County home in 2018, and he has never been found. And some of the people who were engaged in that case are also looking for Sebastian Roger’s search.

We can say there is no denying this on the basis of similarities between these two cases.

5-year-old Joe Cyde, autistic, was said to have wandered from his county home at night, barefoot and in his night dress. A massive search was launched for him, and he ended up finding nothing.

David Marshburn, a dedicated search volunteer back in 2018, said, our main focus is finding where he is at, his remains, or if he’s alive, we find him alive.

Now consider this situation about 15-year-old Sebastian Roger, also autistic, and said to have left his home in Hendersonville at night, barefoot and with a torch, likely two months ago.

Eric Craddock, chief deputy with the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office said “In the absence of information what we will continue to do is go back over everything we have done and give it a news set of eyes on it.

Like the Sebastian’s, there was no physical evidence which can explain Joe Clyde’s disappearance. You may end up recalling his case quickly turned criminal. However, the key difference in both cases is that his father confessed to killing his son. He quickly recanted that confession but was still found guilty at trial.

Despite spending hours of time in interviews with those who knew and were close to Sebastion, no confession, physical evidence, or no new lead was found.

If anything is to be learned from Joe Clyde’s cast, it is this: “If someone who knows something doesn’t speak out with a confession or a new lead, it’s possible Sebastian’s case will never reach a conclusion.
