New York: An Armed Student Was Shot And Killed By US Police In Wisconsin
New York: US Police in the Wisconsin district of the United States shot and killed a pupil with a gun in a regrettable and horrifying occurrence.
Late on Wednesday morning, the district as a whole was placed under lockdown. Authorities in Wisconsin have claimed that on Wednesday, in response to allegations of an “active shooter” situation, police shot and killed an armed kid outside a middle school in Mount Horeb.
At a press conference, Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul said that neither more kids nor police officers were hurt in the event.
“This could have been a far worse tragedy,” Kaul said.
Authorities did not disclose the victim’s name, but they did identify him as a male juvenile student enrolled in a Mount Horeb Area School District school.
It is currently unknown what kind of weapon the student was carrying.
Kaul claims that Mount Horeb Police Department personnel shot shots at the armed student. According to authorities, it was unclear if the child had shot the officers in retaliation.
The inquiry is currently in progress.
More information is anticipated.
