Mom’s heart is ‘broken and heavy’ after Richmond Police update on missing daughter Keeshae Jacobs

Toni Jacobs, whose daughter Keeshae Jacobs went missing in 2016, shared on social media that she is deeply saddened and heartbroken. While no further details were provided, she mentioned that a memorial for her daughter is scheduled for Friday in Richmond.

The Richmond Police Department has disclosed that new information regarding Keeshae Jacobs’ case has been shared with the family. Detectives have been actively investigating since her disappearance in September 2016.

They have collaborated with the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney to inform the family about the tragic circumstances leading to Jacobs’ death. Further details will be released at a later time out of respect for the family.

Keeshae was last seen at a residence in Church Hill on September 26, 2016. Her mother has tirelessly worked to find her daughter. Recently, a person of interest in Jacobs’ case was sentenced to life in prison for another woman’s murder in Jacksonville, Florida.

It’s a heartbreaking and challenging situation for the family.
