Leon Draisaitl made a big impact for the Edmonton Oilers when he came back from his injury. And Sam Bennett did the same for the Florida Panthers! The Bruins are hoping Brad Marchand can have a similar impact for them.

Bennett returned in a strong way for the Panthers in their 6-2 victory over the Bruins. He had some big hits, including one that left Marchand in pain on the bench. It looked like there was a collision where Bennett’s hand hit Marchand in the face, and it caused some controversy between the coaches.

Bruins coach Jim Montgomery wasn’t happy with the hit and believed it was intentional. Panthers coach Paul Maurice, on the other hand, saw it as just a collision. It’s always tough to see players get hurt, and Marchand’s absence from practice and being day to day is definitely a concern for the Bruins.

But as Bruins forward Charlie Coyle said, it’s an opportunity for other players to step up and contribute. Bennett showed that when he returned from his injury, making a big impact with hits and an assist. The playoffs can be intense, and every team wants to have everyone healthy and playing their best.

Let’s hope Marchand can recover quickly, and the Bruins can bounce back in the series.
