Authorities seized Ella Adler Boat:

“The world lost a star this weekend,” the statement read. “Ella was stunning and shone brightly. In her 15 years, she brought us more light than we could have imagined. While we deal with this horrific tragedy, we ask that the public respect our privacy as we mourn. We also want to thank law enforcement for their efforts and devotion to bringing some closure to this tragic loss.”

An attorney for the Adler family confirmed to NBC6 that First Lady Dr. Jill Biden visited the victim’s parents.

“We are honored that the First Lady called shiva for our family during this difficult time. The Adler family added, “Their support and love touch us, and we are proud to call the President and First Lady our friends for over 40 years.” The Adler family has received much support from the community, with many people praising Ella’s stage skills and her commitment to her Jewish faith.

Melissa White, the mother of another child on the boat from which Adler was waterskiing, spoke up on Tuesday night at a Village of Key Biscayne meeting. “I’m here to thank you for being a community and supporting our family this weekend,” she stated. “… My goal is that the females who witnessed it will continue to bless Ella’s memory.

The Florida Fish had custody of a boat that matched the description provided by detectives, authorities said Tuesday. Investigators stated that the boat’s owner is helping with the inquiry. The boat was spotted being taken away for analysis, potentially signaling a fundamental break in the investigation into the event that occurred near Nixon Beach the day before Mother’s Day. FWC Officer George Reynaud underscored the continued efforts to resolve the issue. “FWC and our partner law enforcement agencies will not stop until we have all the answers and the case is solved,” Reynaud stated. According to the FWC, the boat was seized in response to leads provided by eyewitnesses.
