Hyderabad Student Nitheesha Kandula Goes Missing In US
HYDERABAD: Nitheesha Kandula, a 23-year-old student from Hyderabad, has been reported missing in the US since May 28. Nitheesha, a student at California State University, was last seen in Los Angeles.
San Bernardino Police have stated that she was last seen possibly driving a car. The police released details of the car on June 1. “Please find my friend, we are worried about her,” a person said in response to the police announcement. A 23-year-old Indian student has gone missing in California since last week, and the police have asked for the public’s help in locating her, adding to a series of similar incidents involving students in the country.
Kandula, a student at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB), disappeared on May 28, according to the authorities. She was last seen in Los Angeles and was reported missing on May 30, as mentioned by John Guttierez, Chief of Police at CSUSB, in a post on X on Sunday. “#MissingPersonAlert: California State University, San Bernardino Police, in collaboration with #LAPD, is urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of @CSUSBNews Nitheesha Kandula to reach out to us at: (909) 537-5165,” the police stated.
