Missing man believed to be dead, Knoxville police say

It’s really sad news. The Knoxville Police Department mentioned that a man who was reported missing has been found deceased. Clayton Carver, a 32-year-old, was reported missing after he was last seen at the Inskip Grill on Broadway on May 17.

An update from the KPD stated that a body believed to be Carver’s was discovered in First Creek near Office Depot on N. Broadway on Saturday. Currently, there is no suspicion of foul play according to the KPD.

The body has been sent to the medical examiner’s office for further examination and autopsy. As of now, no additional information has been provided about the situation.

It’s truly a heartbreaking situation. The Knoxville Police Department’s efforts to locate Clayton Carver and the subsequent discovery of his body in First Creek near Office Depot on N. Broadway are deeply saddening. The fact that foul play is not suspected provides some relief in this tragic circumstance.
