Sheriff: 14-year-old girl believed to be abducted from Warren County found safe
A 14-year-old girl who was thought to have been taken from Warren County was found safe on Thursday night, as confirmed by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Earlier that day, the sheriff mentioned that the teenager was last spotted at Kings Automall with an unknown man around 2:05 p.m. on Thursday. They suspected she was with a man in his 20s to 30s driving a truck. Later on Thursday night, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office verified that the girl is safe and secure, and efforts are underway to reunite her with her parents.
The sheriff’s office informed WLWT that Hailey was discovered in North Carolina following a joint effort involving multiple law enforcement agencies.
It remains unclear whether the man she was believed to be with has been located. The sheriff’s office stated that more details will be disclosed on Friday.
