To discover their ideal partner, the show places recognizable people from shows like Too Hot To Handle, Love is Blind, The Mole, and others in a luxurious villa.
They participate in a series of compatibility tests during the process, and each evening they alternately ask other participants if they’d want to form a relationship. The couple selected by their other competitors as the “perfect match” wins.

What happens between Stevan and Alara in Perfect Match?
After being paired with Xanthi from season 5 of The Circle, Stevan—who you may remember from Too Hot to Handle season 3—is sent on a date with Alara from Dated and Related.
The two clicked right away, and Stevan decided to get back together with Alara rather than Xanthi. He later made her dinner and told her how much he liked her. It’s safe to assume that even though they are put to the test during their stay in the villa by being sent on dates with other individuals, they end the last episodes together as an item.
Fans were shocked to learn that Alara and Stevan were not chosen as the ideal match, as Christine and Nigel were, despite being the show’s fan favourites during their tenure.

Stevan and Alara were one of the most dominant pairs in the Perfect Match villa, even if they didn’t end up winning the competition.
Fans were concerned about the possibility of long-distance relationships because Stevan is from California in the United States and Alara lives in Wales. However, it appears from her social media activity that Alara has been spending a lot of time in Los Angeles lately. Despite their animosity throughout their time on Love Is Blind, she spent time hanging out with Micah in one TikTok, and in another, she addressed rumors that she was dating him.
“When people in my DMs ask if I’m single” she captioned one TikTok, lip-syncing in the video, “Well, actually, that’s none of your business.”
In June 2024, she also added a picture of the couple on her Instagram grid, providing a behind-the-scenes glimpse into her time as the show’s star.
