A 3-year-old Child is Found Sleeping by himself Outside the Entrance of a Doral Resident’s Home

According to authorities, a three-year-old Daytona Beach child was sleeping on the floor of an apartment building in Doral by himself while his mother, a 25-year-old plastic surgeon, was having procedures.

Following reports of the infant walking around by tenants of the APEX apartment complex at Northwest 104 Avenue near 82 Street, Jessica Renteria made her court appearance in Miami-Dade County on Friday.

CCTV footage, provided to the police allegedly demonstrates Renteria leaving the third-floor apartment she had leased through Airbnb at 10:12 a.m. and her son going on his own at 1:13 p.m.

Shortly before 4:15 p.m., a first-floor homeowner reported seeing the youngster asleep outside her porch. Renteria was discovered by a detective at the hospital following cosmetic surgery.

Renteria requested a friend to keep an eye on the youngster, but the detective informed the police that he was unaware the boy was alone. She was accused of neglecting a kid without causing any physical damage. She had a $1,000 bail.
