Mom arrested after choking son in trailer park
The Lebanon Police Department got a call to an undisclosed location in Lebanon about a fight between a mother and her son on Thursday. The son told the officers that his mother choked him and then left the house on foot.
When the police arrived, they talked to the 13-year-old boy who was the victim, some witnesses, and their legal guardian and grandmother. The officer noticed that the boy had redness, bruising, and a cut around his neck. According to the court documents, witnesses mentioned that Walker was drinking Fireball whiskey with her boyfriend, who she wasn’t supposed to contact. When Walker’s boyfriend left the house, he almost crashed, so the children called their grandmother for help.
The grandmother came back from work and saw that Walker was angry and packing her things. She even threatened to take one of the three children, but the grandmother felt uneasy about her behavior. However, Walker insisted, put one child in a wagon, and started to leave. The other children followed closely, and eventually, Walker turned back.
When they got to Elm Street Trailer Park, the 13-year-old victim took the child out of the wagon. The mother then went after the 13-year-old, accusing him of taking the child and choked him. Another child at the scene tried to stop her mother but got cut in the process. They managed to get the child away.
After the attack, Walker went outside and tore down the blinds of the 13-year-old’s room from the outside. The juvenile went outside, and they started fighting. She choked him again, and that’s when the juvenile sister hit her with a curtain rod, causing her to release the boy. They then called 911.
