Tennessee Discovers the Deaths of Two Missing Liberty County Firefighters

Just a few days after going missing, two firemen from Liberty County were discovered dead in Tennessee. The Hinesville Police Department announced the finding on Sunday night. Raegan Anderson and Chandler Kuhbander’s remains were found by Tennessee officials in Cocke County, along with Anderson’s vanished car.

The investigation is still underway, according to the police. Therefore, no further information is available at this time.

A department official added, “We offer the Anderson and Kuhbander families our sincere condolences during this extremely trying time.”

The Cocke County Sheriff’s Office said that an autopsy would be performed on their bodies to determine the cause and manner of death. Two firemen from Liberty County were recognized as Anderson and Kuhbander. Savannah is situated below Liberty County.

The two were operating a black 2017 Ford Focus with a fireman symbol on the license plate, according to Hinesville police. The automobile was discovered close to their corpses.

Kuhbander’s mother stated on social media that she didn’t think her son departed with Anderson voluntarily shortly after they were reported missing. She said Anderson posed a risk to herself, and her son was likely attempting to assist her.

According to his mother, Kuhbander and Anderson dated for several years but were no longer in a relationship.
