HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department is searching for 22-year-old Kenneth Cutting, who was last seen early Saturday morning around 2 a.m. He was last spotted exiting a car on Highway 10 near Waco Street in the 5th Ward.

According to Kenneth’s family, he had been at Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar downtown and was last known to be there just before midnight. Friends report that Cutting got into a disagreement with two roommates he was hanging out with that night. They all got into a car and headed east on I-10, but the argument continued, and Kenneth was eventually dropped off near Waco Street in the Fifth Ward. It is alleged that he left his phone and wallet behind.

Kenneth’s family received a text from his roommates around 2 a.m. explaining the situation, and they went to the Houston Police as soon as they saw it in the morning.

“My family really needs some answers, we want him home safely,” said Lauren Freeman, Kenneth’s cousin. She emphasized that Kenneth has never disappeared for an extended period of time and it is extremely unlike him to not have his phone. “This is not like anything he’s ever done. He’s never run away, he’s never left for a long time, it’s never happened. My family is extremely worried about him,” she added.

Houston police have assigned a detective to the case and are actively investigating Kenneth’s disappearance.

“Since we found out, we haven’t stopped. Sun up to sun down, we’re making fliers, making phone calls, doing whatever we can on social media to get it out there. We won’t stop until we find out what happened,” Freeman said.

Kenneth is described as a young white man, five feet and three inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information on Kenneth’s whereabouts is urged to call the Houston Police at (713) 884-3131 or the Houston Police Department Missing Person’s Unit at (832) 394-1840.
