Miami-Dade County, Florida – After a thorough investigation, authorities have apprehended 38-year-old Marvin Cisneros Garcia in connection with a devastating fatal crash that occurred on April 28 in unincorporated Miami-Dade County.

Garcia, a Nicaraguan national, was identified as the driver responsible for the tragic accident that claimed the life of his girlfriend, 33-year-old Meylin Munoz Romero.

According to officials, Garcia fled the scene without attempting to render aid or report the crash to first responders, leaving Munoz Romero behind.

The crash, which occurred at the intersection of Northwest 17th Avenue and 95th Street, also injured six other individuals.

Initially, Garcia’s bond was set at $50,000. However, a Miami-Dade judge later deemed that Garcia would be held without bond due to the severity of the case. Additionally, Garcia is facing an immigration hold, further complicating his situation.

The arrest brings some closure to the family and friends of Meylin Munoz Romero, who lost her life in the tragic accident.

The investigation highlights the importance of accountability and the need for drivers to take responsibility for their actions, especially in the face of devastating consequences.
