Vikings Wide Receiver Jordan Addison Arrested In California – Who Is Jordan Addison?
Jordan Addison, wide receiver of the Minnesota Vikings, was arrested on Friday near Los Angeles International Airport on suspicion of driving drunk, only after the week of a teammate’s death in a crash that might have involved alcohol and nearly a year after Addison was arrested for driving 140 miles per hour in St. Paul.
As per the report of California Highway Patrol officers, they responded to the report of a car blocking lanes of a highway near Los Angeles International Airport. According to officers they find a white Rolls-Royce blocking the lane, with a driver asleep behind the wheel. They identified the driver as the 22-year-old Jordan Addison.
The Vikings gave the statement regarding the arrest of the team member:
“We are aware of Jordan Addison’s arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident.”
The news of Addison’s latest arrest comes a week after the death of Vikings rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson in Maryland.
This is the second consecutive driving-related incident for Addison since his selection in Vikings for no.23 in the 2023 draft. He was cited in July 2023 for driving 140 miles per hour on a freeway just outside of St. Paul, Minnesota. He told the officer that he was driving fast because of a medical emergency with his dog. He pleaded guilty to a petty misdemeanor speeding charge and paid $686 in fines and fees.

Jordan Lee Addison is a renowned American football wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He was born on January 27, 2002. He played college football at Pittsburgh, where he won the 2021 Fred Biletnikoff Award before playing the following season at USC. Addison was selected by the Vikings in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft.

Addison was the 23rd overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft. The 22-year-old appeared in all 17 games for the Vikings last season and recorded 70 catches for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns.
The Vikings will begin training camp on July 27. Minnesota is looking to bounce back from a 7-10 finish to the 2023 season.
