Deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at around 10:30 a.m. on July 22 in the 4400 block of Eagle Falls Place, close to Tampa. There, a former employee who was angry over a missed paycheck assaulted the manager, flashed a concealed handgun, and threatened to kill everyone.

After that, 39-year-old Tito Evan-Lloyd, the suspect, left the area. After being called, HCSO deputies located the suspect at a house in Ruskin on the 400 block of Royal Palm Empress Drive.

Following his arrest, the Central Florida suspect was charged with several felonies, including felony possession of a firearm, felonious assault with a deadly weapon, and felonious concealment of a weapon.

“It is astonishing that someone would take such drastic actions over a $75 issue. There is no place for violence or intimidation. Violence and intimidation have no place in Hillsborough County,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “The suspect’s actions were a serious threat to public safety, and our deputies did an outstanding job in bringing him into custody quickly.”
