The rapper was among the many famous people who flocked to the French capital’s Bercy Arena on Sunday, July 28, to watch the women’s artistic gymnastics qualification. Special attention was paid to subdivision two, which included the aforementioned sports legend.
After a problematic time at Tokyo 2020, where she withdrew from the competition after her first apparatus—the vault, no less—after getting the twisties in the women’s team final and losing consciousness in the process, Biles was back in the Olympic race. Her decisions always drew attention from those who belong to inside and outside of sports in terms of sports, her nation and the Olympic games itself.
“At the end of the day, I have to do what’s right for me and focus on my mental health, and not jeopardise my health and well-being,” Biles said at the time.
