Billie Joe Armstrong was born on February 17, 1972, and is the youngest of six children. His father, Andy, was a– jazz musician and a Safeway truck driver, whereas his mother was a waitress at a local restaurant, Rod’s Hickory Pit. Started singing at such a young age. Billie began singing at the age of 5 years old. He would move around hospitals and sing to the patients in a bid to make them feel better. Then he got a chance to record his first song entitled “Look for Love” on a local recording company, Fiat Records.

Armstrong purchased his first guitar, “Blue,” a Fernandes Stratocaster, at the age of 11 from his father, Andy, who passed on shortly after. He and Mike Dirnt, with which he grew up, formed their first band Sweet Children, which later evolved into Green Day in 1987.

Billie’s wife, Adrienne, was born to Joann and Joseph Nesser in 1966. She has two sisters: Natalie and Susan, and two brothers, namely Aaron and Steve. Steve is well known for being a professional skateboarder.

In an interview, she revealed that she went to Minnesota State University and graduated in 1993 with a major in sociology. There, before the University of Minnesota and the Minneapolis Community College. While she was living and learning in Mankato, Minn, she was employed in shops and restaurants.

How Billie Joe Armstrong Met Adrienne?

The first time Adrienne ever came across Billie Joe was when she went to see a Green Day concert in Minneapolis in 1990. According to Mankato Free Press, she said to him, ‘Where do I get this Green Day Song CD’ and so they talked on the phone while Billie Joe was out of town with the band.

Adrienne and Billie Joe got married in July 1994. After she graduated from college, Billie Joe asked her to move to California. To Mankato Free Press, Adrienne said, I was totally scared But super excited It was a new adventure, and I was ready. I figured I’d give it the summer and see what happened.

“I was out two weeks and Billie Joe asked me to marry him,” she included.

Twenty years later, they got remarried in Las Vegas, and a grunge-themes, simple wedding ceremony was attended by their children and other families.
