Heidi Lynn Gardner is an esteemed American actress, comedian, and also a writer, she came into this world on the 27th of July, 1983. Gardner was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She had an older brother, Justin, in her childhood, though the details about her early years have not been published much.

As for the youth, Gardner also worked in a theatre called the Tivoli Theater, where she was engaged in all the necessary work, starting with selling tickets and up to popping the corns. She later attributed that to the theatre as one of the aspects that helped in setting the tone in her life. Gardner was not in any way involved in acting at a young age and actively participated only as a flutist of the school band and occasionally in comedy sketches for a talent show back in school.

Gardner quit college at the age of 21 and shifted to Los Angeles, California, where a friend suggested that she should go for a performance at The Groundlings theatre; it is reported that she begged to become an actress.
